How to Use Section Marketplace

Browse ready-made Shopify sections, get the ones you need (free or paid), then add them to your theme in a few clicks.

Steps

  1. Open the app

    In Shopify admin, go to Apps and open Section Marketplace. If you have not installed it yet, get it from the Shopify App Store first.

  2. Browse sections

    On Explore Sections, search by name or use filters (including Free) to find what you need.

  3. Preview a section

    Click View on any section to see images, details, and pricing before you decide.

  4. Purchase or get it free

    Click Purchase (or get it for free). Choose This shop, confirm, and finish Shopify billing if it is a paid section. Free sections are added right away with no charge.

  5. Find it in My Sections

    After checkout (or claiming a free section), open My Sections. Everything you own for this store is listed there.

  6. Add it to a theme

    Click Add to theme and pick your Live theme or a draft/duplicate theme. We recommend trying a duplicate first.

  7. Place it in the theme editor

    Adding a section copies its files into your theme — it does not put it on a page automatically. Open Online Store → Themes → Customize, then use Add section to place and style it.

Tip: test on a duplicate theme

Install to a duplicate or draft theme first, check everything looks right, then add it to your Live theme when you are ready.

Optional: gift a section to another store

When purchasing, choose Gift to another store and enter their *.myshopify.com address. They must have Section Marketplace installed. They accept the gift under Received Gifts, then add it to their theme from My Sections.
